O dia inicio bem cedo, o ônibus saiu as 9 hs, ninguém foi de táxi e tínhamos um guia local que falava sobre Salvador, como por exemplo onde é a casa da Ivete Sangalo. Nossa primeira parada foi em uma praça na “cidade alta”, tiramos muitas fotos da bonita paisagem.
Na hora do almoço nós fomos ao Pelourinho e também visitamos uma igreja. Após o almoço fomos no mercado modelo, é parecido com o mercado central de Belo Horizonte, com muitas lojinhas, mas é menor um pouco. Muitos de nós coisas típicas brasileiras como berimbau e outros instrumentos que fazem o som da capoeira.
Nós voltamos para o mesmo lugar que estávamos antes, Pelourinho após o mercado modelo, com tempo livre para compras e para conhecer o local, quase todos ficaram fartos de compras, ao final nós cantamos, dançamos e tocamos para passar o tempo, engraçado demais, né?
Depois fomos para um show folclórico que foi muito legal. Vimos danças da África e Brasileiras, imponente demais foi a capoeira, todos gostaram.
Nós ficamos muito casandos, fomos jantar onde comemos muitos crepes.
O dia foi bom, tanta cultura como compras na cidade que é divertida, cheia de lojinhas.

The day started very early, the bus left the hotel at 9 o´clock and nobody had to take the cab. There was a local guide inside the bus, who explained to us about the city tour points, for example, where Ivete Sangalo lived. Our first stop was at a square in Pelourinho, a famous neighborhood of the “cidade alta”, we took a lot of pictures.
At the lunch time we went visiting a church in Pelourinho. After the lunch we went to “Mercado (Market) Modelo” , which looks like the Central Market in Belo Horizonte, with lots of stores, but a little bit smaller. Many of us bought typical brazilian things like “birimbau” and other capoeira instruments.
After the market, we returned to Pelourinho where we had more time to do shopping and explore that place. Most of us got tired of shopping, so by the end of our free time we decided to spent the rest of the time singing in the street. Funny, isn´t it?
After we went to see a nice folkloric show with afro-brazilin dancing and a powerful presentation of capoeira. Everyone enjoyed it!
We got very tired and went to have dinner at a restaurant where we eat crepes.
It was a great day, with a lot of information about the Northeast Brazilian culture. Shopping in the city was a great way to pass the time, it was full of small shops.
